Interventional Cardiologist Needed in Indiana

Interventional Cardiologist - Locum Tenens Location: Southern Indiana (≈10 miles north of Louisville, KY)

Facility: Level 2 Trauma Center

Position Overview We are seeking a Board-Certified Interventional Cardiologist (Interventional Fellowship required) for ongoing locum tenens coverage in a well-established cardiology group located in Southern Indiana, just across the river from Louisville, Kentucky. This is a flexible, long-term opportunity offering 2–3 weeks per month of coverage with a mix of outpatient clinic and STEMI/General Cardiology call.

Schedule & Coverage Details

• Clinic: Full or half days (maximum 25 patients per full day / 12–13 patients per half day)
• Weeknight Call: STEMI call (Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday options available)
• Weekend Call: 24-hour coverage – STEMI or General Cardiology (group may alternate STEMI + General Cardiology call on weekends)
• Ongoing need: 2–3 weeks per month (flexible scheduling available)

Requirements

• Board Certified in Cardiovascular Disease and Interventional Cardiology
• Completion of an accredited Interventional Cardiology Fellowship
• Active Indiana medical license (required at time of assignment)
• Ability to provide ongoing coverage
