Quick Facts

• Weekend call shifts 7 am Friday to 7 am Monday twice monthly
• 5-10 patients per shift with 2-6 patients seen during call
• ER call and inpatient work with some outpatient possibilities
• General surgery including adult and pediatric procedures
• Trauma surgery experience required
• GI endoscopy skills needed including colonoscopy
• Laparoscopic surgery and Nissen fundoplication preferred
• Central line insertion and chest tube placement required
