How you'll make an impact in this role

Ascension Sacred Heart is looking for a certified Pulmonology/Critical Care NP or PA in Panama City, Florida.
* Join an established team of 3 physicians and 4 APPs
* Practice setting: primarily inpatient, with potential for some outpatient clinic
* Employed position within a nonprofit health system
* Eligible for state medical licensure and DEA registration
* Guide a high acuity care team to provide quality, safe care to our most vulnerable patients
* Foster a collegial and dynamic working environment with you colleagues
* Experience with ICU procedures strongly preferred (central lines, intubations, etc.)

• Sacred Heart Bay opened in 1949 and was acquired by Ascension in 2019 to further the Sacred Heart mission in the Panama City community: providing excellent health care to all people, with special attention to the poor and vulnerable.

What minimum requirements you'll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Nurse Practitioner credentialed from the Florida Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Florida Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) or National Advanced Practice - Nurse Practitioner (NP) license required.

Education:

• Master's degree of Nursing required.
