Job Opening with Interventional Radiology at Banner - University Medicine Clinic Tucson

The Department of Medical Imaging at The University of Arizona, Tucson, has an exciting opportunity for a board-certified or board-eligible interventional radiologist. This position offers a unique chance to work with cutting-edge technology and contribute to the field by joining an academic practice.
As the leading level one trauma center in Southern Arizona and the only designated NCI practice in the state, our department is highly esteemed and performs over 42,000 procedures annually in the interventional radiology service. Our team, consisting of expertly trained interventional radiologists and compassionate staff, utilizes state-of-the-art equipment to provide safe and effective care.
The successful candidate will have an established record of clinical and service excellence, along with research experience and an interest in graduate medical education. An academic appointment at the University of Arizona will be commensurate with experience.
Essential Functions & Requirements:
- BC/BE Interventional Radiology
- Arizona Medical License (or eligible to receive by start date)
- Desired 2 to 5 years of professional experience; however, candidates coming out of training are also encouraged to apply
- Ability to work with diverse students, trainees, colleagues, and patients
- Engagement in resident teaching and academic productivity is expected as part of the role.
