Primary Responsibilities:

  • Consulting with patients and families in the outpatient setting, and occasionally the inpatient setting, to understand their symptoms and health concerns
  • Performing and/or overseeing pediatric pulmonary procedures
  • Diagnosing and treating conditions, such as asthma and bronchitis
  • Using and interpreting pulmonological exams and tests to aid in the diagnosis of cardiopulmonary diseases and conditions, including CT scans, chest fluoroscopies, ultrasounds, and bronchoscopies
  • Providing immunizations against preventable cardiopulmonary diseases
  • Referring patients to other specialists, when necessary, including Sleep Medicine
  • Providing support and advice to patients receiving long-term care
  • Working with clinical staff and administration teams to grow and expand the practice

Required Qualifications:

  • Unrestricted licensure in the state of New York or has New York application in process
  • Board Certification or board eligibility in Pediatric Pulmonology/Pulmonary Disease
  • Board Certification or board eligibility in Sleep Medicine
  • Active and unrestricted DEA License or ability to obtain prior to start
