Remote - Radiology Utilization Review - 1099 (contract)

Are you interested in providing your expertise in Radiology by reviewing Prior Authorizations for treatment? Board Certification in Radiology is required.
Medical Review Institute of America, LLC (MRIoA) is a national Independent Review Organization, who facilitates the review of medical claims to determine treatment appropriateness.
IS REVIEW WORK FOR ME?
· Are you interested in staying informed of changes in Radiology and knowing what treatments are utilized by other radiology specialists?
· Are you interested in learning more about how to get your own Prior Authorizations approved?
· Flexible schedule. Work when you want! You can easily let us know your availability for reviewing cases.
· Most MRIoA reviewers average 2-3 hours per week, however, there are no minimum expectations.
· Cases typically take 10-60 minutes to complete, depending on case complexity.
· Cases often involve a Peer-to-Peer conversation with the treating provider to obtain clarification when necessary. There is additional compensation for peer-to-peer calls.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
• You will be covered under MRIoA’s Errors and Omissions policy (traditional Malpractice Insurance is not applicable for review work)
• Work anywhere within the USA (Per HIPAA Regulations patient records cannot leave the US).
• Non-employed Independent Contractor (1099) opportunity.
REQUIREMENTS
· Must be Board Certified in Radiology
· Requires a current state license
· Must be a US Citizen or hold a Green Card

Compensation Details
$117–$143/hour
Paid on a per case basis, not hourly.
