AK Primary Care Providers Needed. No Emergency/No On-Call - $935 Per Day 7 Days/Week - Ongoing/ASAP

Seeking Family Nurse Practitioner for ongoing/recurring Locum Tenens assignments in Alaskan villages.

Job Essentials:

• BLS, ACLS and PALS,
• DEA
• AK State License or will9ing to obtain
• Provider must also have excellent clinical primary care skills.
• Urgent care procedures are a plus!!
• Will be covering various clinics with extended clinic hours in 6 different villages. 
• Focus for this position is to take majority of the primary care hours 8a - 7p on weekdays and 1p-3p on weekends. No call.

• COVID19 Requirements: Initial Covid vaccinations plus at least one Covid booster.  NO EXCEPTIONS

• Part 3: Compensation & Schedule
• Pay $935/day
• Work Schedule: Village clinics are open M-F 8-7 / Weekends 1-3pm urgent care.
• Travel pay is 1 day before and 1 day after assignment at the daily rate of $935.
• 1.5 daily rate for Thanksgiving, Christmas Day and New Years
• Start Date/End Date: ASAP. providers can make their own recurring schedules.
• Ideally looking for providers who would like to set a month-on, month off rotation. Open to other schedules, ex. 5 weeks on, 3 weeks off.  They are very flexible with this right now.

Orientation takes place in the Client's hospital community and in the village (2 weeks total).  It takes about 2 weeks to brand new providers who are not familiar with bush AK oriented properly.

Provider needs to be extremely flexible, may be asked to travel and cover another clinic.  There are 6 villages, provider can expect to travel to all or most.
