Family Medicine Physician I OptumCare Medical - Long Beach, CA

As part of our continued growth, we are recruiting for Internal Medicine Physician to join our Primary Care team in Long Beach community.

Position Details:

• Clinic Location: 2600 Redondo Avenue, Long Beach 90806
• Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Outpatient: Primary Care including office consults, annual visits, follow up appointments and in office procedures.
• Appointment Schedule: 40 / 20 minutes for consults and follow up appointments
• Average Patients per day: 18 - 20 patients
• Comfortable seeing patients from ten years of age and older
• Medical Assistant to support Physician; rooming patients, vitals, RX refills, follow up appointments.

Required Qualifications:

• Unrestricted CA Physician License
• Current CA DEA certificate required prior to start date
• BE/BC Internal Medicine
• Welcome 2023 FM (or IM) Grads
• Current BLS certification
• EMR Proficient
• Excellent communication skills and time management

Preferred Qualifications:

• Fluent in Spanish
• Minimum one year outpatient experience post residency
• Managed care background

California Residents Only: The salary range for California residents is $237,360 to $331,700. Salary Range is defined as total cash compensation at target. The actual range and pay mix of base and bonus is variable based upon experience and metric achievement.
