  • Job Summary:

    The Division of Hematology, Medical Oncology and Palliative Care seeks a GI Medical Oncologist with interest in clinical or translational research in gastrointestinal malignancies to join our faculty. This position would be active in multidisciplinary GI oncology programs including pancreas, liver, colorectal, esophagus and precision medicine. The academic clinician will engage in active collaborative research and build clinical and/or translational research in the division and obtain/maintain independent extramural funding.

    Qualifications:

    • Clinical and research interest in gastrointestinal (GI) malignancies required.
    • Completion of an accredited fellowship training program in Hematology/Medical Oncology, with significant clinical trial experience.
    • Candidates for associate rank (CHS) must meet criteria for appointment at rank per UW School of Medicine and Public Health guidelines for appointment and promotion on the CHS track.

    MD, DO or equivalent required

    License/Certification:

    Required
    ABIM - American Board of Internal Medicine Certification
    Must be Board Eligible or Board Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.

    Must have completed an accredited fellowship training program in Medical Oncology.

    Must be eligible for a Wisconsin medical license.
