Locum Tenens Urgent Care NP/PA Opportunity - Pittsburgh, PA

VeloSource has an Urgent Care NP/PA Opportunity - Pittsburgh, PA

• Board Certified - Required
• For ABEM, require 1 year of experience in EM.
• For ABIM or ABFM, require 2 years of experience in EM or UC.
• DEA required
• Active PA State License Required, no IMLC
• Minimum # Years Experience: 2
• Certifications Required: ACLS; BLS; PALS; CSR
• Must have a min of 2yrs of experience in urgent care or 1yr of experience in emergency medicine
• Must be comfortable seeing patients of all ages
• Must be comfortable with orthopedic procedures (splinting) and wound care
• Min availability to be considered: 3 shifts per month consistently
• Schedule: 8a-8p
• Will work solo

Provider will see patients with cold/flu symptoms, rashes, abrasions, lacerations, sprains, minor burns, they may do splints, Xrays/EKGs, drawing blood and I&Ds. Typical Urgent Care assignment, anything high acuity will get referred to the local ER
