Practice Setting
- Outpatient Emergency Room
- Level 2 trauma center
- MDs and APPs provide support across all shifts
- Sees all ages; ~40–50 patients per 24 hours
Schedule
- 12-hour shifts: 6a–6p, 10a–10p, or 6p–6a
- Block scheduling available, pick your preferred shift
- Night coverage is in highest demand
- Ongoing shifts available; no long-term commitment
Cases and Procedures
- Full-scope Emergency Medicine procedures
- Includes lines, airways, chest tubes, and more
Requirements
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Emergency Medicine
- Active Louisiana license or IMLC LOQ
- ACLS, DEA, PALS, ATLS, CSR required
Travel Accommodations
- Travel, lodging, and rental car included
- Mileage reimbursed if driving
