Practice Description

The West Florida Division Medical Group continues to grow rapidly to meet the needs of the communities we serve. Over the last six years, we’ve nearly tripled in size with a projection to grow to 835 providers by the end of 2025. With the addition of AdventHealth Port Charlotte, we span a broad geography in eight counties, with practices in Charlotte, Hardee, Highlands, Hillsborough, Marion, Pasco, Pinellas and Polk counties as well as five Care Pavilions. Our providers represent 40 specialties and we care for one million patients annually. Using leading edge technology, innovation, and compassion, we deliver our brand of whole-person care.

The first hospital in Florida to earn advanced certification for total hip and knee replacement, and home to the only accredited geriatric emergency department in the area, AdventHealth Zephyrhills provides leading-edge care to Tampa's northeastern suburbs. With 149 patient rooms and additional specialty services - including award-winning heart care, the Simpson Breast Health Center, a full-service wellness center, comprehensive women's services and advanced surgical care - our staff and providers connect patients to the support they need to live well in body, mind and spirit.

Patients and families in the Pasco County community know they can find an uncommon level of compassion when they visit AdventHealth Dade City. Offering innovative technologies and advanced treatments, our physicians and staff are with patients for every step of their treatment journey, whether they need emergency care or specialized treatment. The 120-room facility has 17 ER beds, is home to the only transitional care unit in Pasco County and offers specialized services including accredited cardiovascular and bariatric programs, a sleep clinic, comprehensive women's health care services and advanced surgical care including robotic-assisted surgery.
