• Coverage Model: 24 hours of Doc coverage and 9 hours of APP coverage
• Number of Beds:
  • 17 total private care areas
• EMR: Epic

Qualifications

• Education: EM, FM, or IM Residency
• Licensure: Must have or be able to obtain Texas medical license.
• Board Certification: Must be board eligible/certified in EM, FM, or IM.
• Experience: EM Residents welcome to apply. FM or IM residency trained candidates must EM experience.
• Badges: ACLS and ATLS

About CHRISTUS Health Emergency Center-Mount Pleasant - EM: new, state-of-the-art freestanding emergency medicine facility being developed by CHRISTUS Trinity Mother Frances Health System to bring high-quality, around-the-clock acute care directly to the Mount Pleasant/Titus County area. The campus — part of a broader “HealthPark” initiative — will feature a 15-bed emergency department with advanced imaging and onsite laboratory services, along with integrated clinic space for primary care and specialty services to support continuity of care.

Designed to improve local access to urgent and emergent care and reduce the need for patients to travel for treatment, this well-resourced emergency center represents CHRISTUS Health's commitment to expanding comprehensive healthcare in rural East Texas, while providing a dynamic clinical environment for emergency medicine physicians and multidisciplinary teams
