Locum Tenens General Cardiology Opportunity - Quincy, IL

VeloSource has a General Cardiology Opportunity - Quincy, IL

​

• Coverage Need: Clinic + Call

​

• Typical day: 8a – 5p with scheduled outpatient clinic 3-4 days and covering call 1-2 days. Office is normally 8a – 5p with a lunch break.

​

• If the physician is the cardiologist on call then he/she takes all new hospital consults, with APP assistance. He/she also reads the ECHOs for that day and oversees stress testing (done with APPs).

​

• The physician follows his/her consults throughout the week – again, with APP assistance as there are two dedicated APP cardiology hospitalists.

​

• Approx. 15-18 patients in clinic per day.

​
