How you'll make an impact in this role
This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated Family Medicine, Internal Medicine or Med/Peds physician to join an employed position within a busy, well-respected practice, supported by a strong referral base and the full resources of a robust health system network.
* Join a growing team
* Call structure: Outpatient call: None, Inpatient call: 1-2 nights per week for unattached patients, Weekend call 1:6
* Practice setting: Outpatient and Inpatient
* Perform essential in-office procedures, such as punch biopsies and lesion removal, ensuring patients receive convenient, complete, and streamlined care.
* Shape the future of medicine by actively mentoring medical students and residents, contributing to a vibrant academic and teaching culture.
* Provide comprehensive, longitudinal care for a diverse patient panel ranging from adolescents to geriatrics, fostering long-term wellness within the community.
* Deliver high-quality clinical outcomes by managing a manageable daily volume of approximately 20 patients, ensuring every individual receives the time and attention they deserve.
* Manage a seamless continuum of care through light inpatient rounding (averaging 1-2 patients daily), ensuring clinical continuity from the clinic to the hospital.
* Employed position within a nonprofit health system
* Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine or Med/Peds
* Eligible for state medical licensure and DEA registration

What minimum requirements you'll need
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Indiana Medical Licensing Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
- Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Education:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
