We are excited to offer a unique opportunity for a physician seeking advanced training in headache medicine! This non-ACGME accredited fellowship is a one-year program for the upcoming academic year, designed to equip physicians with specialized expertise in diagnosing and managing headache disorders, including migraine, the leading cause of disability in working-age women. While headache medicine may not always be life-saving, it is undeniably life-changing—a philosophy that drives our passion for this field.

Physicians from Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, and Neurology backgrounds are encouraged to apply!

About the Fellowship

The Fellow will train in a high-volume, multidisciplinary headache medicine clinic, refining the skills necessary to deliver high-quality headache care. This immersive experience includes:

  • Hands-on procedural training, including chemodenervation, cranial nerve blocks, and shunt adjustments.
  • Collaboration with multiple subspecialties to develop a comprehensive, multidisciplinary approach to headache management.

Subspecialty Rotations

The fellow will gain invaluable exposure to how various specialties contribute to headache care, enhancing their ability to collaborate effectively and refer patients appropriately. These rotations include:

  • Dental & Oromaxillofacial Surgery
  • Interventional Radiology
  • Multidisciplinary Concussion Clinic
  • Neuroradiology
  • Neurosurgery
  • Orofacial Pain
  • Pediatric Neurology
  • Physical Therapy
  • Psychiatry & Psychology
  • Sleep Medicine

Qualifications:

  • MD or DO
  • Completion (or pending completion) of a U.S.-based residency in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Neurology
  • Passion and enthusiasm for helping headache patients
