Remote Family Medicine MD – 115-130/hr | Clinical Trial Role | 20+ Hrs/Wk | Starts 6/16

We're staffing a remote sub-investigator (Sub-I) physician opportunity for a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company –, supporting an ongoing pediatric neurology trial in epilepsy research. This is a long-term, fully remote locum role (with minimal travel) starting June 16, 2025.

MUST HAVE ALL LICENES : - Florida, NY, Michigan, Illinois, Nevada, PA, CA, VA, South Dakota, and Oklahoma upon submittal

📍 Location: Remote (10% travel to Boston, MA) 🧠 Focus: Pediatric epilepsy (DEEs – developmental & epileptic encephalopathies) 🗓️ Start Date: June 16, 2025 📋 Contract Length: 6+ months (18+ months of trial remaining) 💰 Rates: • Pay Range: $115–$130/hr to provider • 1099, locum tenens

🕐 Schedule: • 20+ hours/week required, delivered in 3+ hour blocks • Flexible weekday availability: M–F, 8am–6pm ET • Evening/weekend blocks possible (case-by-case basis) • Availability shared via Calendly for scheduling • Must be consistent week-to-week

✈️ Travel: ~10% to see patients in person (Boston-based)

💼 Clinical Role Overview: As a Sub-Investigator (Sub-I), you'll align with patients for this pediatric epilepsy trial and may support additional epilepsy-focused studies in the future. While neurology experience is helpful, the emphasis is on routine care, comfort, and compassion for pediatric patients and families.

🔹 Responsibilities include: • Eligibility determination & C-SSRS review • AE severity/relatedness assessments • Treatment discontinuation/emergency unblinding • Oversight of ECG/lab reports • Conducting and recording video neurological exams • Performing efficacy/safety assessments (TETRA S-ADL, CGI-S, C-SSRS, etc.) • Reviewing physical/lab exams for clinical significance • Signing Case Report Forms (CRFs)

✅ Requirements: • MD/DO in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Pediatrics • Comfort working with pediatric populations • Strong attention to clinical documentation and remote care standards • Active licensure – Praxis is not licensing new states
