Long Term Locums Gastroenterology - ERCP Required

A Tennessee health system is seeking a Board-Certified Gastroenterologist for ongoing locum coverage across two hospital locations. This opportunity offers a consistent weekly schedule, strong support staff, and advanced GI procedural work including ERCP.

Coverage Details

• 24-hour call coverage required throughout assignment
• Night call primarily consists of beeper coverage and phone consults
• Rarely required to return onsite after hours
• Provider onsite approximately 8–10 hours daily
• Working 1:1 with an APP

Patient & Procedure Details

• Adult patient population with occasional patients under 18
• Estimated procedure volume:
  • Approximately 7–8 procedures daily
  • Average 5–6 procedures during 24-hour call coverage
• Consult volume varies
• Blocked endoscopy suite time available
• Flexibility around EUS scheduling and procedures

Requirements

• Board Certified in Gastroenterology
• Tennessee license or IMLC required prior to confirmation
• ACLS and BLS certifications required
