  • The Allegheny Health Network has an opening for a, Radiation Oncologist at our comprehensive Cancer Institute facility at AHN Saint Vincent of Erie, PA. New state-of-the-art Cancer Institute facility with on-site medical oncology and radiation oncology services; dedicated patient supportive services team to include but not limited to nurse navigator, dietitian, social worker and financial counselor.

    Job Details

    • Patient oriented clinician with excellent clinical and interpersonal skills to provide state of the art care to patients. Participation in active multidisciplinary tumor boards, and experience with clinical trials is available and encouraged.
    • APEX accredited institution and offer a full range of treatment modalities including 3DCRT, IMRT/VMAT, IGRT, SRS/SBRT, TBI/TSE, Permanent LDR, and HDR brachytherapy. We have an established track record of providing high quality Radiation Oncology services to our patients through 17 hospital based and freestanding facilities in Western Pennsylvania and Ohio.
    • Our facility is equipped with Elekta Versa HD Linear accelerator, CT simulation, Mosaiq EMR, and SBRT, motion management and onsite PET CT simulator.
    • Opportunities for collaborative research and protocol enrollment are available.
    • AHN’s Cancer Institute currently employs 19 physicists and 22 physicians.

    Job Qualifications

    • Board Certified in Radiation Oncology
    • PA Medical License
    • SBRT, and LDR prostate brachytherapy experience preferred but not required
    • Both recent graduates and experienced Radiation Oncologists will be considered
    • Demonstrated clinical skills, and have a proven record of exceptional interactive skills with colleagues, patients, and staff
    • J1 and H1-b Visa Acceptable
