Family Medicine Physician - Streets of Caledonia Urgent Care Clinic
O'Fallon, MO
SSM Health is seeking a dedicated and experienced Family Medicine to join our Urgent Care team at our newest facility at the Streets of Caledonia in O'Fallon, MO. The successful candidate will provide high-quality, compassionate care to all ages of patients with acute and urgent health issues. This role requires clinical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to delivering patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments, including patient history, physical examinations, and diagnostic testing for all patients.
- Diagnose and treat a variety of acute illnesses, injuries, and infections
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized treatment plans, including prescribing medications and other therapies as appropriate.
- Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment plans, and preventive care.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care and optimal patient outcomes.
- Urgent Care schedule 15–20-minute visits 8am - 8pm
- The position involves direct patient contact and requires the ability to stand and move throughout the clinic for extended periods.
- Flexible work schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed to meet the urgent care needs of patients.
