    Location: Southeast Alaska Job Type: 1099 Locum Tenens Contract Date Range: August – December, 2025 Compensation: Hourly Rate + Call-Back + On-Call

    Key Job Details: 

    • Schedule: 9-week long assignments. Exact schedule will vary, but will include: 
      • 2 weeks of 24/7 call, beginning on a Tuesday morning and ending on a Tuesday morning
      • 4 weeks of 10-hour shifts, Tuesday – Friday 7:00am – 5:00pm
      • 3 weeks off
    • Compensation Breakdown:
      • Hourly Rate: $240.00 (guarantee of at least 10 hours per day for each day scheduled to be in clinic)
      • Call-Back Hourly Rate: $240.00 (minimum of 1-hour payment for any call-back to the facility)
      • On-Call Hourly Rate: $40.00
      • 2 paid travel days (1 arrival, 1 departure), paid at the daily rate

    Responsibilities: 

    • Patient Volume: Averages 30 cases per week
    • Call-Back: Averages 10 hours per week
    • Staffing Mix: Traditional hospital staffing
    • Patients are often Medevac’d in and out

    Position Requirements: 

    • Active Alaska State Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) license
    • Active BLS, ACLS, PALS
    • ATLS, ALSO, NRP, STABLE preferred, but not required
    • Adult and Pediatric experience
    • Must be culturally sensitive and willing to embrace the native community and their culture
