    We are seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Allergist-Immunologist (MD/DO) to join our growing, patient-centered medical group in vibrant coastal Delaware.     Position Overview 

    As an Allergy & Immunology Physician at Beebe, you will provide high-quality, comprehensive care for patients with allergic diseases and immune system disorders. You’ll practice in a collaborative environment with access to modern diagnostics, experienced clinical staff, and strong primary care and specialty partnerships. 

    You will evaluate patients, perform and interpret diagnostic testing, develop individualized treatment plans, and educate patients and families on managing chronic and complex conditions—while practicing medicine the way it was meant to be practiced. 

    Key Responsibilities 

    Patient Diagnosis & Treatment 

    • Diagnose and manage a full spectrum of allergic and immunologic conditions, including: 
    • Asthma and allergic rhinitis (hay fever) 
    • Food and environmental allergies 
    • Eczema and chronic urticaria 
    • Sinus disease 
    • Primary and secondary immunodeficiency disorders 

    Diagnostic Testing 

    • Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic testing, including: 
    • Skin prick and patch testing 
    • Serum allergy testing (IgE) 
    • Pulmonary function testing (spirometry) 

    Treatment Planning 

    • Develop evidence-based, individualized treatment plans 
    • Prescribe medications such as antihistamines, corticosteroids, antibiotics 
    • Administer and manage: 
    • Allergen immunotherapy (allergy shots) 
    • Immunoglobulin therapy, when indicated 

    Patient Education 

    • Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment options, allergen avoidance, and lifestyle modifications 
    • Empower patients to safely manage chronic conditions and prevent severe reactions 

    Collaboration & Care Integration 

    • Work closely with primary care providers, pulmonologists, dermatologists, and other specialists to deliver coordinated, whole-person care 

    Documentation & Safety 

    • Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the electronic health record (EHR) 
    • Manage acute allergic emergencies, including anaphylaxis, when necessary 

    Professional Growth 

    • Participate in CME and ongoing professional development 
    • Optional opportunities for research, teaching, or provider education, based on interest 

    Qualifications 

    Education & Training 

    • MD or DO from an accredited medical school 
    • Completed residency in Internal Medicine or Pediatrics 
    • Completed two-year fellowship in Allergy & Immunology 

    Certification & Licensure 

    • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Allergy & Immunology (ABAI) 
    • Eligible for unrestricted Delaware medical licensure 
    • BLS certification required
