Current staffing: 1 Service Chief, 1 Assistant Service Chief, 22MD's, 1 NP, 1 PA, 1 Administrative Officer (AO) and 1 Program Support Assistant (PSA).
- Low- Acuity Clinic (LAC).
- Ambulance Service consists of 4 Paramedics and 4 EMT's.
Practice Environment Description include:

This position will report to the Section Chief of Emergency Room Medicine Department.

This service provides care during days, and occasional nights to 50-75. veterans per month. This is working 36 clinical hours during a 2-week period. 4 hours of administration time is given to each part-time provider to complete any documentation requirements including coding inquires, training modules (TMS), ALS/BLS, etc.
Opportunity Highlights of this position include:
- Employee can take part in 40 hours paid VA funded (or non-VA funded) CME hours per fiscal year.
- Employees are encouraged to take part in optional education opportunities provided on-site by the VA Learning Resources department.
Work Schedule/ Tour of Duty & Call Coverage include:
- Compressed; includes Weekends, Nights, and Holidays.
- Night call 1-2 times per month.
Candidate Quals (Basic / Preferred) include:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible.
- Preferred 2-3 years of Emergency Medicine post residency in outpatient setting.
- 3 years is ideal but less can be considered with experience in rural location.
- Non-OR Airway Management level 3 compliance required.
- Point of Care Ultrasound competency preferred.

Compensation Details
