Specialty Needed: Urology

Scope of Coverage Needed: Call only. Covering the call for the 4 employed urologists

Shift Times: 7 am – 7am, some flexibility on scheduling.

Specific Dates of Need: May 22-28, ongoing coverage one week per month through the end of the year. They will take partial coverage if needed.

Required Procedures/Cases Details: 

Urology: 4 employed urologist** -** inpatient consults while in house for the week. Level 3 trauma. Busy practice.

# of clinic patients per day? N/A – no clinic.

# of surgeries per day/week? Average 6 encounters per day.

What type of cases would they expect to see the most? General urology – 75% of what they see are stone cases.

Is Robotics experience required? They do have one on site. Those are done by the employed providers, the locum will not be required to do any robotic procedures.

Will they see pediatric patients? no pediatric patients.

Required Certifications: (Specialty Boards, ATLS, ACLS, BLS, NRP, etc.): BC or BE.

Trauma Level: Level 3 Trauma

Credentialing requirements and timeframe: 30 days with KY license or IMLC. 45-60 without the license.

Can we license a candidate? Yes – IMLC, they are open to it.
