**

Gadsden Regional Medical Center is seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Gastroenterologist to join a hospital-employed, highly efficient GI program. This is a high-volume, high-earning opportunity with exceptional infrastructure, strong leadership support, and a truly manageable call schedule.

This search supports growth and succession planning, with the goal to recruit two full-time gastroenterologists. The position will begin as a solo employed role, joining a community with two highly experienced independent GIs—both nearing retirement age, including one of the busiest providers in the market—creating substantial long-term demand and stability.

**Opportunity Highlights**

  • Hospital-employed position w/strong administrative and clinical support
  • High volume with the ability to perform up to 25 cases per day
  • Income potential up to $1 million annually
  • Inpatient and outpatient practice; EUS and ERCP available
  • Join a seasoned, highly trained endoscopy team within a well-run, efficient GI operation
  • State-of-the-art equipment, including:
    • 3 new reprocessors
    • New lithoscopes
  • Hospital has an ASC; however, ~90% of GI volume is performed at the hospital
  • Opportunity to add an NP once ramped up
  • Engage in clinical research and clinical trials, contributing to innovation and advancement in gastroenterology

Call & Work-Life Balance

  • Call schedule: 1:3
  • Very light call burden:
    • Approximately 95% of call handled by an NP
    • Most calls are telephone-based, with patients scheduled for follow-up the next day
