Locum Tenens Radiation Oncologist – Multiple Outpatient Opportunities (Illinois)

We are actively seeking Board-Certified Radiation Oncologists for multiple locum tenens opportunities across Illinois. These outpatient roles offer flexible scheduling, ranging from short-term coverage blocks to extended full-time assignments.

All positions are Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, with no call, no weekends, and no holiday coverage required. Coverage may include consistent weekday assignments or non-consecutive, intermittent blocks depending on site needs.

Clinical Responsibilities:

Providers will manage comprehensive outpatient radiation oncology care, including new patient consults, treatment planning, on-treatment visits (OTVs), follow-ups, and survivorship care. All sites are fully supported outpatient programs with multidisciplinary teams in place, including radiation therapists, physicists, dosimetry, and nursing staff.

Requirements:

Board Certified in Radiation Oncology (required)

Active Illinois medical license (required for most sites)

BLS certification (required)

Recent active clinical experience in radiation oncology
