Practice Setting

• Inpatient hospital setting
• Coverage relief for high-volume, multi-campus system
• No clinic responsibilities; ICU managed by intensivists
• NP support available for clinic overflow

Schedule

• 24-hour call shifts
• 1 weekend per month preferred
• Present availability: coverage needs extend into fall

Cases and Procedures

• CABGs, AVRs, MVRs, PVRs, thoracic surgeries
• TAVR, Watchman, and lead extraction standby coverage
• All adult patients
• Must be able to respond to emergent surgical needs

Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiothoracic Surgery
• Active Mississippi license or IMLC LOQ
• DEA required
