You will evaluate, diagnose, treat, and manage pediatric urology patients in collaboration with surgeons and a multidisciplinary care team. This role offers variety, impact, and the chance to work at a leading pediatric center with meaningful work every day.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Provide clinical care in ambulatory clinics, operating rooms, inpatient wards, and emergency settings as part of the urology service
    • Obtain patient histories, perform physical exams, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and develop individualized treatment plans
    • Prescribe medications, manage follow-up care, and coordinate ongoing case management across care settings
    • Assist in or perform urologic procedures where appropriate (clinic, OR, or consult settings)
    • Collaborate with pediatric urologists, surgeons, nurses, and allied health staff to ensure cohesive, high-quality care for patients and families
    • Participate in quality improvement and departmental performance initiatives
    • Engage in patient and family education, support, and continuity of care throughout the treatment process
    • Contribute to education and research initiatives as part of the urology team

    Qualifications:

    • Master’s degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program (pediatric or family NP) or graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program
    • Active, unrestricted Washington State ARNP license (for NP) or PA-C license (for PA)
    • National certification appropriate for NP or PA role
    • DEA (or eligibility) and current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (or equivalent as required)
    • Minimum of one year of clinical experience in a pediatric or family-focused care setting; prior urology or surgical experience preferred
    • Strong clinical judgment, adaptability, effective communication, and teamwork skills
    • Comfort working in a dynamic, high-volume pediatric surgical and outpatient care environment

    Work Environment & Schedule:

    • Mixed practice settings: outpatient clinic, operating room, inpatient units, emergency/consult coverage
    • Diverse pediatric patient population with a wide spectrum of urologic conditions
    • Collaborative, multidisciplinary team environment within a nationally recognized children’s hospital
    • Opportunity for procedural exposure, longitudinal care, and broad clinical scope
    • Flexible scheduling depending on OR, clinic, and inpatient demands

    Compensation:

    • Annual Salary Range: Approximately $125,000 – $185,000 (depending on experience, credentials, and full-time equivalence)
    • Full benefits package: medical, dental, vision, retirement, paid time off, potential tuition reimbursement or continuing education support
    • Opportunity for professional growth, continuing education, and participation in academic/specialty research

    Why Join Us:

    • Practice in a leading pediatric urology program — broad scope from routine outpatient care to surgical and inpatient management of complex cases
    • Work as part of a high-performing, multidisciplinary team dedicated to children’s health and family-centered care
    • Balance clinical variety with professional growth — outpatient, OR, inpatient, consults, and long-term follow-up care
