Job Title

Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner – Dermatology

 

Overview:

Bassett Healthcare Network, a progressive, academic health system in central New York, and major teaching affiliate of Columbia University, is seeking a full time or part time Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our Division of Dermatology. Candidates must have at least one year experience independently practicing dermatology to be considered for this opportunity.

 

Description:

Bassett Healthcare Network is an integrated health care system that provides care and service to people living in an eight-county region covering 5,600 square miles in Central New York. 

 

Job Description & Responsibilities:

·         3 Dermatologists, which include a Mohs surgeon and Teledermatologist, and 4 Advanced Practice Clinicians

·         Dermatology experience preferred

·         Medical Dermatology with additional opportunity for Pediatric Dermatology, Procedural, Laser and Cosmetic Dermatology as desired

·         25-30 patients per day, 5 clinical days

·         Outpatient practice

·         No call

·         Full support staff

·         Office locations in Cooperstown, Oneonta, Cobleskill, Delhi/Andes, Herkimer and Little Falls with the opportunity to select your primary location

·         Must be able to work in a team environment and independently

·         Salary Range: $104,040 - $138,816 plus performance-based compensation. This compensation range represents Bassett Healthcare’s good faith belief of the compensation range at the time of this posting or advertisement. Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards

·         Competitive RVU incentive with strong internal referral network

·         Sign-on Bonus up to $50,000

Job Qualifications

·         National Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.

·         NYS Licensure

·         BLS Certification Required

·         DEA Required
