Locums Ophthalmologist | Fargo, ND

Join a respected and busy Ophthalmology team serving the Fargo, ND community! AMN Healthcare is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Ophthalmologist for full-scope coverage, including clinic and surgical care. This is a lucrative locum's assignment with full support staff and a dynamic patient mix.

🗓 Start Date: June 16, 2025 (or earlier if credentialed) 📍 Primary Site: Essentia Health – South University Clinic | Fargo, ND 📍 Optional 2nd Site: Detroit Lakes, MN (1 hour from Fargo) 📈 Volume:

• Clinic: 20–25 patients/day
• Procedures: 12–15/day (cataracts, trauma cases, lasers, injections)

Schedule:

• Mon–Fri, 8:00a–5:15p
• Rotating call (weekday/night/weekend)
• 15-minute response time

✅ EPIC EMR ✅ No hospital rounding ✅ ND License preferred, MN License a plus ✅ IMLC & licensing support case-by-case ✅ COVID vax required (declinations accepted for Med/Religious reasons)

Credentialing: ~30 days for ND-licensed providers Reason for Coverage: Staff departure
