Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon – Locums Opportunity

We are seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon for locums coverage. This is an ongoing need until a permanent hire is secured, with the option for emergency privileging for qualified providers.

Position Details:

• Start Date: As soon as credentialed (60–90 days; emergency privileging available for clean files)
• Schedule:
• 4-week rotation | 7-day block, 1 out of every 4 weeks
• Day shift only | Pager call 6:30 AM – 6:30 PM
• No night call
• Will consider local provider for 1–2 days/week
• Cases: Mostly bread-and-butter trauma cases; pelvic trauma experience preferred but not required
• Average Volume: 3–4 surgical cases/day
• Inpatient: Consults & rounding expected
• Clinic: None at this time (could change)
• Support: Robust PA team for OR assist and rounding

Provider Requirements:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery
• Fellowship training in Orthopedic Trauma Surgery (required)
• Trauma-trained; experience with geriatric fractures and neck cases preferred
• Will consider providers straight out of residency
• WA license or IMLC (licensing support available)
