Primary Care – Weekday Schedule | Locum to Perm

We are seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Physician for a locum-to-perm primary care opportunity in Victorville, CA. This position offers a consistent weekday schedule, supportive clinical team, and the opportunity to transition into a permanent role.

The provider will care for a mostly adult and geriatric patient population in an outpatient primary care setting.

Position Details:

• Location: Victorville, CA
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Contract Length: 3–6 months with potential for permanent placement
• Patient Volume: Approximately 15–18 patients per day
• EMR: NextGen

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive outpatient primary care services
• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat acute and chronic medical conditions
• Manage adult and geriatric patient populations
• Perform common in-office procedures including:
  • PAP smears
  • Cryotherapy
  • Punch biopsies
  • Simple wound care
  • Joint injections (optional)
  • Toenail removals
• Prescribe medications, including birth control
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation within EMR
• Collaborate with physicians and APPs to ensure high-quality patient care

Requirements

• MD or DO – Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
• Board Certified or Board Eligible
• Active California license or eligible through IMLC
• Strong outpatient primary care experience preferred
