Locum Tenens Orthopedic Surgeon – Hands & Shoulders Focus

An exciting opportunity awaits for an experienced Orthopedic Surgeon to practice in paradise! We are seeking a board-certified physician to provide full-time locums coverage (for 3 months) in Guam, focusing on hand and shoulder cases. This is an inpatient/outpatient role with a well-supported orthopedic team and consistent clinic volume.

🔍 Position Details

• Specialty: Orthopedic Surgery (Hands & Shoulders Focus)
• Schedule:
• Clinic & OR: Monday–Friday (4.5 days/week)
• On-Call: One week per month
• Patient Volume: ~16 adult patients/day in clinic
• Trauma Level: II
• Team Support: RN’s, MA’s, and two on-staff orthopedic surgeons
• Practice Setting: Inpatient & Outpatient
• Credentialing Timeframe: 30–45 days
• Length of Contract: 3 months

✅ Requirements

• Board Certification: Orthopedic Surgery (will consider true board eligible)
• Experience: Minimum 2 years
• Skills: Must be proficient in hand and shoulder orthopedic procedures
• Licensure: Assistance provided
• DEA: Required
• Certifications: BLS & ACLS
