We are seeking a skilled Cardiac Electrophysiologist with pacemaker and device experience to join a highly respected, nationally recognized health system in Temple, TX. This opportunity offers the chance to work alongside a collaborative, experienced team in a state-of-the-art facility, providing advanced cardiac care to a diverse patient population. The facility welcomes IMLC candidates and will assist with licensing for qualified physicians.

• Shift Coverage: Scheduled + On Call required
• Shift Schedule: Standard 5, 8-Hour 08:00 - 17:00

About the Facility:

• Facility Type: Acute Care Hospital

Position Highlights:

· Specialty: Electrophysiology / Pacemaker – Device focus

· Team Structure: Work with 5 Board-Certified Cardiologists and 5 Advanced Practice Providers

· Schedule: o Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM o Weekend call coverage required o Overtime possible on lab days due to add-ons

· Coverage Commitment: 3–4 weeks per month, up to 6 months assignment

· Setting: Inpatient and Outpatient responsibilities

· EMR: EPIC (Inpatient & Outpatient)

Requirements:

· Board Certification in Cardiology with fellowship training in Electrophysiology Active Texas medical license or IMLC eligibility

· DEA required

· No unexplained gaps in work history, disciplinary actions, or restrictions of practice/privileges

Credentialing:

· Full medical group and hospital board approval required (approx. 135 days)
