Position Overview:
St. Luke’s Hospital is seeking an experienced Electrophysiologist (minimum 2 years of post-training practice) to join our growing Cardiovascular Division. This full-time position is based at the Bethlehem and Anderson campuses and offers a rare opportunity to be part of a thriving, forward-thinking team with major investments underway in EP and heart care services.
Future Vision – Heart Hub:
A new, state-of-the-art Heart Tower is currently under construction at our Anderson Campus and will serve as the future hub of advanced cardiovascular care in the region. The incoming electrophysiologist will play a integral role in developing the direction of EP services in this flagship facility, featuring cutting-edge labs, hybrid ORs, and fully integrated care environments.
Unique Academic Opportunity – EP Fellowship Launching 2026:
St. Luke’s will be launching an ACGME-accredited Electrophysiology Fellowship in 2026. This is a unique leadership and academic opportunity for the new hire to be involved in fellowship development, mentoring, and teaching, in collaboration with Temple/St. Luke’s Medical School.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient cardiac electrophysiology care
- Perform a broad range of procedures including complex ablations, device implantation, and lead management
- Collaborate across the network with other EPs, cardiologists, and cardiac surgeons
- Share in EP only call coverage
- Contribute to medical education and the development of the EP fellowship
Qualifications:
- MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
- Board-certified in Cardiovascular Disease and Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology
- Minimum of 3 years of post-fellowship clinical experience
- Eligible for licensure in the state of Pennsylvania
- Strong interpersonal, procedural, and academic skills
- Interest in innovation and program building
