Locum Tenens Rheumatologist – Outpatient Clinic Coverage

We are seeking a Board-Certified Rheumatology physician to provide outpatient clinical coverage while our client recruits a permanent provider. This is a great long-term locums opportunity with a flexible schedule, supportive team, and an easy-to-navigate practice setting.

Position Details:

• Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours Only – No Call
• Schedule:
• Preferred: 10 days/month, 5 on / 5 off, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM
• Flexible: 3 days/week for a local part-time provider
• Patients per Day: ~21
• Support Staff: Yes
• Bed in Department: 2
• Practice Setting: Outpatient only

Clinical Scope:

• Manage rheumatology patients in coordination with pharmacy
• Collaborate on medication education and medication management
• Must be comfortable with intravenous therapy protocols (infusions are performed at a separate oncology clinic)

Requirements:

• Board Certification in Rheumatology
• Active WA license or IMLC
• Experience with IV therapies and medication co-management
• Clean file for expedited credentialing (30–60 days standard; expedited available)
