    The U.S. Navy is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Anesthesiologist to serve as a Active Duty Medical Corps Officer—providing care to service members and their families in a full-time, in-person role.

    Position Details

    1. Specialty: Anesthesiology
    2. Status: Active Duty, Full-Time
    3. Starting Annual Compensation: $271,555 to $361,090

    Potential Duty Station Locations:

    1. San Diego, California
    2. Portsmouth, Virginia
    3. Camp Lejeune, North Carolina
    4. Okinawa, Japan
    5. Guam
    6. And more!

    Primary Responsibilities

    1. Deliver anesthesia for surgical procedures
    2. Manage pain control and patient safety in perioperative settings
    3. Operate in a variety of Navy medical facilities, based on training and assignment

    Eligibility Requirements

    1. M.D. or D.O. from an accredited institution (or ECFMG certified)
    2. Completion of an ACGME accredited residency in Anesthesiology (or in final year of residency)
    3. Board Certified in Anesthesiology (or in final year of residency)
    4. U.S. Citizenship
    5. Between the ages of 21 and 64 (Federal Law: Title 10 U.S. Code section 531 and 532)
