Orthopedic Surgery – Weekend Call Coverage

We are seeking a Board-Certified Orthopedic Surgeon to provide weekend call coverage in Maryland. This is a great opportunity for a long-term locums role with a 1-year contract and the option to extend.

📅 Assignment Details:

• Start Date: End of September 2025
• Duration: 1 year, with potential to extend
• Schedule: 1 weekend/month (Friday 7:00 AM – Monday 7:00 AM)
• Call: 24-hour coverage (7a–7a)
• Volume: ~4–5 calls/day; typically 1 onsite visit/day (as needed)

🏥 Work Environment:

• Setting: Hospital – Level 3 Trauma Center
• Support Staff: PAs, residents, RNs
• Patient Population: Primarily adults (17+), rare peds
• Skills: General ortho, fracture care, infections

✅ Requirements:

• Board Certified in Orthopedic Surgery
• Active state license or IMLC eligible
• Minimum 1 year post-training experience
