Assistant Professor of Clinical - Pediatrics, Gastroenterology Transplant

The Department of Pediatrics, Division of Gastroenterology and the Miami Transplant Institute seeks an Assistant Professor to serve as a full-time faculty member at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine.

Responsibilities include providing direct patient care to pediatric outpatients in the Miami Transplant Institute faculty practice (including satellite clinics) and pediatric inpatients at Jackson Memorial Hospital. Also includes coverage of inpatient consult coverage and weekend on-call service.

Candidates must have the following qualifications:

• Individuals must be board certified/board eligible in the subspecialty of pediatric gastroenterology, with additional fellowship training in pediatric transplant hepatology

• Recognized expertise in clinical care, teaching, and research

• Be eligible for or maintaining a valid Medical License in the State of Florida

• Valid DEA license

• Ability to work efficiently and collegially within a diverse environment as part of a collaborative groups

• Ability to adhere to policies and procedures

• Additional desirable skills the ability to communicate in Spanish and/or Creole
