Assistant/Associate Professor – Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery Location: Minneapolis, MN | Employer: University of Minnesota Physicians (M Physicians)

The University of Minnesota’s Department of Surgery, Division of Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery, seeks a full-time faculty plastic surgeon to provide comprehensive clinical care, contribute to surgical education, and engage in academic scholarship.
Practice Highlights:
- Diverse practice with an emphasis on Breast, Wound Care, and General Reconstruction.
- Primary sites: M Health Fairview Clinics and Specialty Center – Maplewood, St. John’s Hospital, and the Ambulatory Surgery Center in Maplewood.
- Additional surgical opportunities at M Health Fairview Southdale Hospital and University of Minnesota Medical Center.
- Provide inpatient and outpatient care while teaching medical students, residents, and fellows.
- Collaborate with a dynamic, multidisciplinary team committed to advancing reconstructive and microsurgical care.
Academic Appointment:
- Faculty rank (Assistant or Associate Professor) commensurate with experience.
- Academic responsibilities include teaching, research, and service within the Department of Surgery.
- Microsurgical training preferred, but not required.
Qualifications:
- MD or equivalent degree.
- Board certified or board eligible in Plastic Surgery.
- Completion of ACGME-accredited Plastic Surgery residency and/or fellowship.
- Eligible for Minnesota medical licensure and DEA certification.
- Demonstrated excellence in clinical care, communication, and collaboration.

$425k
Compensation & Benefits: Competitive salary of $450,000 (full-time), aligned with AAMC benchmarks.
