1.0FTE Full-Time Medical/Medical Retina Ophthalmologist Opening - East County and South Bay San Diego

Requirements/Preferred Experience

1. Must be board-eligible/board-certified physician in Ophthalmology
2. Completion of a Medical Retina Fellowship is required to join our Ophthalmology division
3. Comfortable administering Intravitreal injections

Position Details

1. 4-day workweek schedule
2. 50% East County
3. 50% South Bay
4. Average patient load is 20-25 patients/day
5. New consults
6. Follow-Up
7. Post-Ops
8. Office based surgery/minor procedures
9. Practice will be 50% General Ophthalmology and 50% Medical Retina
10. General call for the department (with sub-specialty back up in all areas) is taken 1 week at a time, approximately 4-5 weeks per year.
11. User friendly work schedule with excellent support staff and collegial work environment
12. If fellow, will be required to become board certified within first two years of employment
