Flexible Scheduling - Locum - Physician - OB/GYN Colorado Springs, CO

UCHealth Memorial Hospital North is looking for locum support for offsite night call coverage for the OBGYN team. Coverage is to cover 3 UCHealth physicians for any obstetric or gyn patient of the facility to see/admit antepartum patients, manage labor and delivery for our patients, see gyn ED consults, perform emergent gyn surgeries, round each day and Primary call coverage.  Coverage needs are Mon-Thurs week night call coverage and weekend call coverage - Friday (5p) - Mon (7a). Coverage needed is 3 weeks Mon (5p) - Mon (7a). Willing to be flexible with provider's availability.

• Week night call coverage - (Mon-Thurs) - 5p-7a & three weekend per month - Friday (5p) - Monday (7a)
• Coverage needs are a total of 3 weeks and 3 weekends
• Setting: Inpatient, Level III Trauma and NICU
• Facility address: 4050 Briargate Parkway, Colorado Springs, CO
• Required Procedures/Job Duties: Obstetrics Required Procedures: Low risk (Pt's with pre-existing problems, history of twins, history of toxemia, pyelonephritis, hyperemesis, etc.), High risk pregnancy (Pt's with toxemia, diabetes, class II or higher cardiac, chronic lung problems, chronic renal disease, etc.), FHR Interpretation - NST / CST / FSE, 
• Required Procedures/Job Duties: Labor & Delivery: Routine delivery (Vaginal, low forceps, decision making for C-section), Complicated delivery - (C-section, breech, multiple births, abruptions, etc.), VBAC's, Repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations, 
• Required Procedures/Job Duties: Gynecology: Surgery gynecology* - open (operative / major - includes diagnostic) - ectopic pregnancy, ovary removal, cystectomy, extensive LOA's. 
• Required Procedures/Job Duties: Other: Suction D&C. Management of cesarean complications to include hysterectomy.
