Practice Setting

• Manage a comfortable volume of approximately 10 patients per shift.
• Work alongside one supportive APP during your assignment.

Schedule

• Coverage needed starting this fall.
• Initial assignments involve only 2 weeks per month onsite.
• Future need shifts to weekend call-perfect for supplemental income.
• 24-hour pager call with a 30-60 minute response time.

Procedures and Cases

• Handle inpatient consults and standard GI cases.
• Required procedures include upper and lower GI endoscopy.
• Perform PEG placements, colonoscopies with polypectomy, and biopsies.

Requirements

• Board Certified in Gastroenterology.
• Must hold an active North Carolina state license or IMLC (LOQ).
• Requires BLS certification and at least 12 months of experience.

Credentialing Requirements

• Please allow 60-90 days for the credentialing process.
