Cardiac Surgery PA with Premier Health in SW Ohio

Cardiothoracic Surgery Associates (CSA) is a highly skilled team dedicated to providing personalized care and support to patients and their families in Southwest Ohio. CSA is seeking PAs for a full-time, cardiac surgery position at Miami Valley Hospital (the area's only level 1 trauma center) for OR and inpatient responsibilities.

​

Although experience in CV surgery, cardiology, or critical care is preferred, candidates with experience in other areas will also be considered. Both new-grad and experienced providers are welcome to apply. NPs with first-assist experience are also welcome to apply.

Schedule

• Monday-Friday, 7:00am-4:00pm
• 1/5 beeper call or consults/OR (call isn't in-house)
• Every 5th weekend for rounding, 24-hr OR call

Clinical Responsibilities

• Collaborate w/ surgeons and other APPs
• Manage patient caseload
• Rounding; consults
• Bedside procedures: lines; removal of chest tubes, pacing wires, IABPs
• Rotation for coverage of both hospitals
• First-assisting; conduit-harvesting; beeper call
