MountainView Regional Medical Center in Las Cruces, New Mexico, is seeking a full-time BC/BE neurologist to help launch and lead a brand-new, 100% outpatient neurology clinic. This is a ground-floor opportunity to build a thriving practice in a community with a massive, built-in referral base and a high demand for neurological care. You will enjoy the autonomy of shaping a new service line while being supported by dedicated clinic space, established medical assistant and nursing staff, and a robust Primary Stroke Center.

Position Highlights

  • Practice Setting: 100% outpatient neurology clinic.
  • Schedule: Traditional Monday through Friday schedule, with potential flexibility for a four-day workweek.
  • Volume: Anticipated average of 18 patients per day.
  • No Call: Enjoy true work-life balance with strictly outpatient hours and absolutely no call responsibilities.
  • Clinical Scope: EEG interpretation is required (onsite EEG lab available). Lumbar punctures are at the provider's preference. Opportunity to develop a subspecialty niche.
  • Technology: Athena EMR.
  • Academics: Exciting teaching opportunities available with Internal Medicine and Transitional Year residents, as well as medical students through the local Burrell College of Osteopathic Medicine.

Qualifications

We are looking for clinicians who value patient relationships and collaborative care. Are you:

  • An experienced neurologist or a new graduate looking for a highly supportive environment to build a practice?
  • Board-certified or board-eligible in Neurology? (Fellowship training is preferred but not required).
  • Interested in clinical leadership and shaping a new community service line?
  • Note: J1 waivers are available. H1B transfers are accepted for candidates currently awaiting their green card.
