Physician - Trauma Acute Care Surgery - Marietta, GA

Wellstar Medical Group is seeking BC/BE Trauma Acute Care Surgeons to join our busy, collegial trauma team at Kennestone Regional Medical Center in Marietta, GA.

• Level 1 trauma center located in Marietta, just Northwest of Atlanta
• Home to the 2nd largest ED in the country
• Well established ACS program with large group comprised of physicians and APPs, responsible for covering trauma, emergency general surgery, and surgical critical care
• Roughly 15% penetrating trauma
• Busy EGS service with dedicated robotic access
• GME surgery residency program with opportunities to teach residents and medical students

• Ideal candidates will have trained at level 1 or busy level 2 trauma centers and preferably done a 2 year fellowship program or have experience. Must be BC/BE in surgical critical care as well as general surgery
