Practice Setting
- Inpatient OB Hospitalist model
- Level 3 and Level 4 NICUs onsite
- In-house anesthesia and MFM consults available
- Collaborative GYN ONC and private practice relationships
Schedule
- 24-hour weekend shifts; compact scheduling
- Only 10 shifts/month needed; choose your weekends
- Inpatient-focused with some outpatient duties
Cases and Procedures
- C-sections, vaginal deliveries, GYN first-assist
- No circumcisions or backup for midwives/FPs
- Estimated 15 deliveries/month per hospitalist
Requirements
- Board Certified or Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Active Texas license and DEA
- ACLS certification required
