OB/GYN Opportunity in Cedar Rapids, Iowa
Join an established, physician-owned OB/GYN practice with three OBGYNs and three APPs, a busy obstetrical volume, and a strong support team. This full-time OB/GYN role in Cedar Rapids offers a four-day work week, with a 1:4 shared call and a consistent delivery volume of about 150 per year.
What We Offer You
- Established OB volume: Approximately 150 deliveries per physician per year, averaging 10-15 deliveries per month.
- Efficient clinic setup: The clinic is near both UnityPoint and Mercy, with an on-site lab and ultrasound, plus full administrative support for scheduling and billing.
- Strong day-to-day support: Three Advanced Practice Providers; each provider has a dedicated LPN, CMA, or RN.
- Shared call model: 1:4 call coverage; you take call every fourth day, including weekends.
- Compensation and growth path: $350,000 base salary, a $40,000 sign-on bonus, and $10,000 in relocation assistance.
Candidate Requirements
- Full-time OB/GYN physician.
- Currently practicing OB/GYN, or an OB/GYN resident completing residency in 2027.
- Comfortable with 50/50 obstetrics and gynecology, including deliveries, C-sections, and gynecological surgeries.
- Willing to participate in shared call, including 1:4 call coverage.
- Board certification or board eligibility requirements are to be confirmed.
