How you'll make an impact in this role
Ascension Saint Thomas is looking for a Board Certified/Board OB/GYN to join our high volume OB/GYN Hospitalist program.
* Join an established team of 2 physicians and 2 APPs
* Call structure: Rotating schedule; 12 or 24-hour shifts
* Practice setting: inpatient
* Employed position within a nonprofit health system
* Board Certified or Board Eligible in OB/GYN
* Eligible for state medical licensure and DEA registration
* Manage high-volume, rewarding clinical scenarios across Labor & Delivery (L&D), High-Risk OB (HROB), and Postpartum (PP) units.
* Provide expert evaluation and treatment in the dedicated OB/GYN Emergency Department, and lead emergency surgeries for unassigned GYN inpatients.

What minimum requirements you'll need
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Medical Examiners obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
Education:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
