Practice & Cases
- Inpatient emergency department with six treatment beds
- Adult-only patient population
- General emergency medicine with basic procedures and line placement
- Solo physician coverage with APP and nursing support
Schedule
- PRN coverage, typically 4 to 10 shifts per month
- Day shifts from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm or night shifts from 7:00 pm to 7:00 am
- 12-hour or 24-hour shifts available
- No call outside of scheduled in-house coverage
Requirements
- Must be an MD or DO
- Board Certified in Emergency Medicine
- Active Georgia medical license or active IMLC Letter of Qualification
- ACLS, BLS, and DEA required
Logistics
- Lodging, rental car, and mileage reimbursement provided
- Airfare is not provided
